Maria has been the backbone of the business since day one.

Whether it is managing the point of sale at some of the largest motorsport events in the country, preparing pictures at corporate events for high profile clients, or sat in the office overnight sorting a set of track day pictures for the internet after a 12-hour day on site, she is always working away in the background for the benefit of the customer.

Maria’s customer service skills are often utilised at events during signing on and throughout the day, as our point of sale is regularly in the same area as the event management where our service can truly be integrated into the event if need be.

In Nov 2019 Maria was diagnosed with cancer. When she was given the news in the doctor’s office, she turned to Gary, held his hand and said, “But we’ve had a great life together haven’t we?” there was a short pause, then she threw up in the bin.

The great life she was referring to was all the opportunities that this career has given her, and getting to know all the wonderful people she has had the pleasure of meeting all over the world.

Her first round of chemo during lockdown in 2020 went well, and she is due another round in 2023. Her illness has meant that she isn’t able to attend events outside the UK at the minute, but she is still as active as she can be to assist with the UK events.
